Text Box: Welcome to Xenos' Miniature Schnauzers in Lodi, California, centrally located about 35 miles south of Sacramento. To begin with, we are not a “commercial-type” breeder of AKC Registered Miniature Schnauzers. We are a small “Hobby” kennel and breed mainly in anticipation of improving the quality and health of the breed. Because we are picky when evaluating pups we intend on keeping for possible show potentials, we are able to offer superior quality companion puppies occasionally throughout the year. Typically you will find a well-bred Miniature Schnauzer is relatively small in size but in no way toyish or delicate. When you pick them up you discover they are sturdy, heavy, and muscular....a ruggedness combined with the elegance and beauty of a pure bred. They make excellent companions because they are extremely obedient and quick to learn, devoted, playful and affectionate. Their alertness makes them excellent guard dogs. They are spunky and fearless but not aggressive so that they can run with other dogs. They are as much at home in the city with a small amount of exercise as well as the country where they appear tireless. They easily adapt to any change of condition or climate. Their deepest need, however, is to live as a part of a family, going where they go, doing what they do. Throughout the year we offer quality pets to approved homes with a spay/neuter agreement and limited AKC registration. We breed with the American Kennel Club breed standard as our goal, therefore we are very selective of our prospective Dam and Sire when considering a litter. Check our puppy page for availability.
